Welcome to InvictaGC (Gaming Community). The purpose of InvictaGC is to provide competitive board & trading card game players with a platform to connect & compete. Offering an alternative to official tournaments, as well as a sense of community.
InvictaGC’s TCG platform will initially focus on out-of-print, and under served titles. Our hope is to enhance the existing communities for these games, and bringing them under one umbrella, we hope to grow each game. We also want to give honor to these great games that they truly deserve. Phenomenal games have been lost to the sands of time through mismanagement, poor marketing, unlucky timing, or just bad luck. But those don’t factor into the quality of the game.
On the board game side, we will be focusing on promoting events for the most competitive titles available at Board Game Arena. Bringing competitive players from a variety of titles, we believe, will help to develop a unique, and colorful community, enhancing everyone’s experiences with the games they love.
InvictaGC was started by Paul Miles, a veteran TO & promoter. His TO career started in 2002 with the release of Halo:CE. He qualified for the first Halo National Championship, but the event he qualified through was so poorly organized that he didn’t realize it was a qualifier until well after the event. Deciding that he could do it better, Paul spent parts of the next six years organizing Xbox LAN events under the PhillyGamers banner. In 2012 he returned to eSports promoting with the launch of the Sim Auto Racing Association (now and still considered one of the premier short track organizations in sim racing). The 2020 COVID pandemic gave Paul an opportunity to once again organize events with the short-lived Plague League, which focused on Magic the Gathering Arena, and Pokemon TCGO.
Paul is bringing the full weight of his nearly 20 years of experience to InvictaGC with the goal of building community, and providing that community with well organized, professional run events.
